Over the weekend, Banjo & Millie (and Mom & Dad, of course) went to our first Henrico Humane Society Pet Expo, and boy, did we all have fun! The Expo consisted of over 75 local vendors (grooming, daycare, artists, retail, rescue groups and more), and even more exciting, there were HUNDREDS of other dogs who came out and supported the Humane Society. Dogs of all shapes and sizes paraded around the Showplace, and Banjo & Millie had a good time making all kinds of new friends. We also found a few new local vendors that we're excited to get to know, so we will be showcasing/reviewing them here in the near future!
Here are just a few photos we took while wandering the Expo.

Looks like so much fun! Mama says there is a pet expo coming up where we live next month... but there are no pets allowed inside! Whats up with that???!!!
ReplyDeleteBanjo and Millie, did you know that we (Jon Farleigh and Dewi) live in (or near) the same town? Our dearly departed sister Molly (who has her own page on our mom's blog) was even rescued by the nice people at the Henrico Humane Society. Too bad we weren't at the Expo, but maybe we'll run into you at another doggie day somewhere. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun! I'm sure that box of rawhides was tempting. I found your blog on the weekend on the blog hop and I think it's great! I've actually got an award for you on my blog, if you'd like to stop by and pick it up!
ReplyDeleteTrixie, Lily & Sammy-Joe - I can't imagine there is a pet expo that doesn't allow pets!!! That's just crazy. What kind of expo wouldn't allow its main audience to come out and be the star of the show?!
