Banjo and Millie are so stoked to be part of the Richmond Pet Lovers Strut Your Mutt pack! Strut Your Mutt is a half mile walk that kicks off “Woofstock,” the Richmond Animal League’s big fundraising festival! The festival includes the Strut Your Mutt Walk, music, canine contests, food (for both people and pups alike!) and local vendors. It all takes place on Saturday, April 16th, and we will be out there proudly wearing our Richmond Pet Lovers shirts in order to help RAL raise money for homeless animals. Since Banjo spent several years of his life in a shelter, it’s very near and dear to us that we give back to the people and organizations who care so much about finding forever homes for these sweet animals who otherwise may not have second chances.
Not to mention, Millie seriously loves to strut her stuff. Banjo, well, he won’t strut, per se, maybe more of a beagle saunter, but he will be thrilled to be out in the warm spring air on beautiful Monument Avenue!

ReplyDeleteLayne, I saw this the other day and just haven't had a few minutes to respond. We're on the fence about joining the walk (we have fundraisers coming out our ears with school, church, etc.), but we *are* definitely planning on going to Woofstock and we will help RAL through purchases there.
