Happy Birthday Banjo!

Since Banjo came to us from the pound, we don't actually know how old he is, or when his real birthday is. So we chose March 7th (so he can celebrate with his Dad, who turned 30 today!) and we celebrate every year. In order to celebrate, Banjo got to try out the Original Birthday Pup Pie that I have blogged about in the past. I fell in love with the adorable packaging - which Banjo couldn't care any less about - and Banjo fell in love with the delicious Birthday Pup Pie! He went nuts over the yummy Oatmeal-Pumpkin-Peanutbutter-Cinnamon-flavored treat! Not a bad birthday treat for the world's best beagle! Happy Birthday little man!

  1. Happy birthday, Banjo!
I had never heard of the pup pies 'til now and turns out there's a retailer only 7 miles from me. I usually drive up to Three Dog Bakery, but will definitely check this out for the next special occasion. Thanks!
Glad to see Millie got some, too. ;)

  3. Thanks for the Birthday wishes! We love to share special treats in our household - it's fun to let the pups try new ones! I would get bored if I ate the same old kibble every day, and I'm sure Banjo and Millie do too! It's fun to mix it up. Georgia Little Pea, I'm sure you get tons of delicious treats from your special humans too! And Elizabeth, Three Dog Bakery is Banjo's favorite! I usually buy him special treats there, but saw this Pup Pie at Dogma Grooming in Carytown and just couldn't resist it's cuteness!

I'm a total sucker for fabulous product packaging and the Pup Pies look great.

Happy 30th to to Banjo and Millie's dad! We turned 30 last year too, so welcome to a new age bracket. ;)

  7. Thanks, Chandra! Banjo appreciates the birthday wishes, because he continues to get treats each time someone tells him Happy Birthday!

Happy Sixth Birthday to you, Gus! I hope you get to try out a Pup Pie too! I will pass the 30th birthday wishes on to Banjo's dad. I'll be joining you all next year myself!

Trixie, Lily, and Sammy-Joe - how exciting that TWO of you get to celebrate birthdays in a few weeks. Just flash your cute little puppy/kitty eyes to your Mama and she will run right out to the store and get one for you too!

  9. Thanks guys! That was the last good treat Banjo is having for a while... I took him to the vet yesterday and got reprimanded because he is overweight! Poor Banjo!
