Vicky - you are very lucky that you've never had a dog who loved shoes! My Kelso, who I just wrote about in an earlier post, stole one of my Mom's favorite shoes - the left one - and chewed it up. So Mom threw out the right one. Then Mom found the same shoes and bought them new. Then, of course, Kelso chewed up the right one. If only she had kept the first unchewed one!
Chandra, you are so right. It's typical of Millie to want the "forbidden" items, but then again, she is entering her teenage years where it's fun to break the rules! Chewing up something that's allowed isn't living on the edge like breaking and entering! :)
I've never had a dog who had a thing about shoes, for which I am most grateful :)
